Gastronomy

Our goal for Brasserie Maximilian concept is simple, however we still have a long and winding road ahead. We have spent many weeks by choosing suppliers who care about environment. We keep tasting and buying new wines. Spending many hours by creating attractive menus. We never stop harmonising interior details and tuning our original playlist, which underlines the atmosphere of Brasserie Maximilian. The reason is simple – we want you to feel cozy and comfortable.

We have experienced a huge progress of gastronomy during the past decades. Restaurateurs and chefs are competing in creativity, use of exotic ingredients and creating new procedures in a way to amaze customers. But sometimes they forget the most important fact – it is always about customers. Therefore we always aim at your satisfaction and we want you to walk out happy and willing to come back.

Ingredients

We work with raw ingredients that have grown with respect for nature. We are choosing suppliers who prefer quality over quantity. The key factor for us is the distance that the raw ingredients must travel before it reaches us. We believe that the sustainable gastronomy should be about quality local ingredients.

Seating Outside

Enjoy our relaxing outdoor seating. There is a cozy garden in the courtyard available during breakfast and lunch hours. Take just a few steps through our restaurant and the hustle of the city will disappear. Well, if you prefer the bustle of the street and the church view of the St. Haštal, have a seat right in front of our Brasserie.

Location

Brasserie Maximilian is located right in the heart of historic Prague on Hastal Square, a few minutes walk from the Old Town Square, but in a very quiet area.

Interior

The interior of Brasserie Maximilian was created by well known London studio Conran & Partners that found inspiration in a rich art history of Prague.

During reconstruction they were coopereting not only with global foreign brands such as Konsepti or Vitra but also with Czech manufacturers – for example an imposant lighting installation was delivered by Czech Design Studio Sans Souci.
